The most horrific of atrocities occurred here at the Auschwitz camp in Poland, with over 1.5 million men, women and children losing their lives...
Even visiting now I still can not begin to imagine how so many lives were taken in only a few years and the conditions in which some people managed to survive in...
To sum it up it was a really sombre and sad experience... but I'm glad I went
